Coleshill Church of England Primary School

Coleshill Church of England Primary School is a happy, friendly school of around 400 pupils from Reception to Year 6 – along with a thriving nursery for children from age two – with great facilities, dynamic teaching within a varied curriculum and an approach to pastoral care that celebrates our Christian ethos.

Coleshill Primary is part of the Birmingham Diocesan Academy Trust (BDMAT) and we are driven by a desire for our children to experience ‘life in all its fullness’.  For that to happen, we want to ensure that the children in our school community develop the ‘tools’ needed to make the best and have the most choices in the future.  That means developing academic and creative skills that open doors to any and every possible career and, just as importantly, learning how to be a person of character who will enrich the world around them; be it at a local, national or even global level.

We believe that a child leaving Coleshill Primary School should have our core Christian values embedded in them – as well as their times tables and fluent writing style.  A Coleshill child should be honest, kind, show perseverance and self-control as well as having respect for themselves and the world around them.  Add to that a fluency in academic skills, a strong capacity to reason and solve problems, wonderful experiences from the Arts and Sport within our curriculum and we believe children can leave us ready for anything!

A school is really defined by the community of people who learn in it – not a building.  We want our children to aim high and have a pride in everything they do.  We are Coleshill C of E Primary School.
