Saif Amin
Head of IT
Saif joined the Trust in August 2025 as Head of IT, bringing over 23 years of experience across education and the IT industry. He previously spent 15 years as IT Manager in two large secondary schools with sixth forms, leading digital strategy and infrastructure development.
He has a strong interest in emerging technology and current affairs, and enjoys playing and watching cricket in his spare time.
Cern Diston
Senior IT Operations Engineer
Cern joined BDMAT as an IT Technician in November 2022. Before starting at BDMAT he worked for Romero MAC as a level 3 into level 4 network apprentice. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked as an IT Technician before being promoted to become Senior IT Technician, where he supported the schools with working effectively in the cloud. Outside of work Cern spends much of his time writing stories, socializing with friends and is into gaming.
Justin Leslie
IT Technician
Justin joined BDMAT as an IT Technician in February 2022.
Before joining BDMAT he worked for Kennet Equipment Leasing as an IT Administrator for 2 years, where he supported the sales teams with their IT enquires. He then moved to Trident Housing as IT Support Assistant/Engineer where he supported the housing staff & charity staff with their IT issues. Outside of work, he spends time catching up on the latest released technologies & is into Gaming.
Murad Rashid
IT Technician
Murad joined BDMAT in January 2026. Having previously worked as an IT support technician at a SEND school in Leeds, he enjoys working in the IT environment in a school and is settling in really well. In his spare time he likes to go to the gym and enjoys going on hikes to the lake/peak district.
Raheem Webber
IT Technician
Raheem joined BDMAT in October 2023 and is an IT Technician for the BDMAT schools. He is enjoying working with and learning about all aspects of IT from the rest of the team. When not at work, you will find him playing sports or gaming.
Kailesh Gadaria
IT Apprentice
Kailesh joined BDMAT in December 2023 as part of a Level 3 Apprenticeship for an IT Technician. He is enjoying learning and undertaking a variety of IT tasks. Before joining BDMAT he was involved in a range of different job roles from retail to administration as well as support work with young adults and children. In his spare time, he likes to go to the gym as well as listening to music and playing the piano.
