Hawkesley Church Primary Academy has been investing in its youngest learners, with a refurbishment of its Little Acorns Nursery creating a fresh, welcoming environment for children at the very start of their school journey.
Work began in June 2026, transforming both the indoor and outdoor areas and creating a calm, purposeful space for children aged 2–4. With brand-new resources and beautifully renovated indoor and outdoor classrooms, Little Acorns is now a space that encourages creativity, curiosity and purposeful play.
For BDMAT, investing in high-quality early years provision is an important part of giving every child the best possible start. Little Acorns reflects our commitment to ensuring that our youngest learners have the quality of environment and provision they deserve from the very beginning of their educational journey.
A special thank you to Taylor Wimpey and Alliance Groundworks and Civils for their work in transforming the outdoor area, and to Neal R Shipley & Co for the indoor refurbishment. We’re proud to see BDMAT schools benefiting from partnerships that make a real difference to the experiences and opportunities of our pupils and communities.
